What We're Looking For

• A Diploma or Certification in Fire Life Safety Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with specialised training in fire alarm and suppression systems is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on Fire Life Safety Maintenance experience in a Luxury Hotel in the UAE.
• Comprehensive working knowledge and Demonstrated Expertise with Simplex Fire Alarm Systems and comprehensive hotel Fire Safety Systems, including fire hydrant pumps, sprinklers, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting.
• Comprehensive understanding of Dubai Civil Defense regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements for Fire Safety Systems in hospitality properties.
• A proven track record in performing systematic testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of Fire Life Safety Infrastructure with precision.
• Strong familiarity with Operating and Maintaining Fire Alarm control panels, pumps, detectors, and related Fire Safety equipment.
• A Proactive Nature, coupled with a meticulous Eye for Detail, ensures every aspect of the Operation is perfectly curated.
• Next-Level Organisational and Leadership skills, effectively leading and inspiring the FIVE Tribe to New Heights.
• Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English (Additional languages are a Plus).
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the requirements of FIVE.
• A hands-on attitude, fuelled by a 'Can-Do!' Spirit.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs of Fire Life Safety Systems including Simplex Fire Alarm Panels, Smoke Detectors, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hydrants, Fire Pumps, and Emergency Evacuation Infrastructure.
• Performs routine testing, calibration, and functional checks of Fire Detection and Suppression Equipment, ensuring full compliance with Dubai Civil Defence regulations and FIVE's premium safety standards.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots Fire Alarm Control Panels and associated infrastructure with Precision, delivering Flawless technical performance.
• Identifies and Reports potential fire hazards, malfunctions, or safety risks immediately to the Engineering Supervisor or Chief Engineer for corrective action.
• Responds rapidly to system alarms, fire safety work orders, and urgent maintenance requests, safeguarding uninterrupted Guest and 'FIVER' safety throughout the property.
• Assists in installations, upgrades, and refurbishment projects related to Fire Life Safety Systems, guaranteeing alignment with Operational Policies and Protocols.
• Collaborates closely with the Engineering Team and Dubai Civil Defence inspectors during audits, inspections, and compliance exercises, ensuring Seamless Cooperation and Documentation.
• Maintains Detailed inspection reports, service logs, and compliance records to support audits, certifications, and continuous Safety Improvements.
• Supports fire safety training, motivating 'FIVERs' to embrace a Culture of Awareness, Preparedness, and Proactive emergency response.
• Ensures all Fire Life Safety equipment rooms remain pristine, organised, and fully accessible in accordance with Safety and Operational Standards.
• Upholds FIVE's Top-Notch brand standards and emergency response protocols, guaranteeing that every Guest Journey is secure, seamless, and delivered to 'FIVE-Star' expectations.
