Fire Apparatus / Emergency Vehicle Technician

We are looking for an experienced, motivated Fire Apparatus / Emergency Vehicle Technician who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of keeping first responders ready when it matters most.

What You’ll Be Doing

Perform maintenance and repairs on fire apparatus and emergency response vehicles
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and pumps
Inspect and maintain emergency lighting, warning systems, and auxiliary equipment
Conduct safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet DOT and departmental requirements
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure rapid and reliable emergency response readiness
Document repairs and maintain accurate service records
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Work with service advisors and fleet managers to keep municipal vehicles operational and mission-ready

What You’ll Need

Minimum 3 years of heavy-duty diesel, emergency vehicle, or fleet repair experience
Experience with fire apparatus, municipal fleets, or emergency vehicles preferred
High school diploma or GED (technical training a plus)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet the physical demands of a hands-on role
Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
CDL a plus, but not required

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
