– BOYLE COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT JOB POSTING

The Boyle County Fire Protection District will be accepting resumes for the position of the Boyle County Fire Department Chief. Resumes must be received by April 3, 2026.

Residency within Boyle County or willingness to relocate is preferred.

Salary range will be $28,000 - $65,000 depending on qualifications and whether the applicant is applying for a part-time or full-time position.

Benefits are negotiable depending on part-time or full-time application.

All applicants must:

• Be at least 21 years of age;
• Be a qualified Fire Apparatus Driver Operator;
• Demonstrate leadership ability and proven knowledge of equipment;
• Have completed the Officers Training Class (within 6 months of appointment);
• Possess and maintain current certification as Fire Commission Instructor;
• Have at least 8 years of firefighting experience; and
• Have at least 5 years of Officer experience.
