What to Expect
Tesla has an outstanding opportunity available for a Fire and Emergency Services Team Supervisor. The Fire and Emergency Services Team Supervisor has the responsibility of responding to and mitigating emergency events within Tesla Facilities throughout Bay Area in accordance with local, state, county and national standards and industry best practices. The Fire and Emergency Services Team Supervisor will be responsible for leading, managing and promoting the development, mentoring, and training of Fire and Emergency Services Team members which they are assigned. The Fire and Emergency Services Team Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring training, scheduling, staffing, and resource needs are met. The Fire and Emergency Services Team Supervisor will serve within the Incident Command System as required and interface as needed with local supporting response agencies.
What You'll Do-
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and resource to Responsible, Accountable, Consulted & Informed (RACI) stakeholders from across the Bay Area in matters pertaining to emergency response

Serve as Incident Commander or other supporting role as needed within the Incident Command system at emergency events

Develop, deliver, and facilitate trainings in accordance with an established training plan

Ensure quality and timely delivery of emergency services and public education activities and compliance with applicable Tesla policies, codes and standards and best industry practices

Supervise the conduct of and updating of pre-incident response plans

Create, update, or modify strategic and tactical emergency plans as required

Assign and monitor status of required fire and life safety inspections, schedule and deliver as necessary public education activities
What You'll Bring-
Firefighter 1, Firefighter 2, and/or Fire Officer Certification Preferred

Current EMT-B, EMT-P Preferred

Hazardous Materials Operations level

High/Low Angle, Confined Space Rescue, Rescue Technician preferred

5 years’ experience as an industrial, municipal, or military firefighter/emergency medical responder Previous experience as a Company Officer or equivalent preferred

Expected Compensation
$96,000 - $144,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
