Fire Fighting Pump Engineer cum Estimation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Fighting Pump Engineer cum Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, selection, and cost estimation of fire fighting pump systems and related equipment. This role requires technical expertise in fire protection standards, strong analytical skills, and the ability to prepare accurate project proposals and BOQs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, selection, and sizing of fire pumps (electric, diesel, and jockey pumps) in compliance with NFPA and local authority standards.
• Prepare technical submittals, equipment schedules, and hydraulic calculations.
• Prepare accurate BOQs, material take-offs, and cost estimates for fire fighting systems.
• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare competitive quotations.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and consultants for technical and commercial clarifications.
• Support project and sales teams with technical expertise.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project timelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, BS, and local civil defense codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience with UL/FM-approved fire pumps and systems.
• Certification or training in fire protection (NFPA or equivalent).
• GCC (Gulf region) experience is an advantage.
