Job Opportunity: Fire Fighting Supervisor
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fire Fighting Supervisor to lead our fire fighting installation, testing, and maintenance teams. The successful candidate will oversee daily site operations, ensure compliance with safety standards, and manage project delivery from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Supervision: Lead and manage fire fighting technicians and site staff.
- Project coordination: Plan, schedule, and monitor fire fighting system installations and maintenance activities.
- Testing & commissioning oversight: Ensure systems are properly tested, commissioned, and handed over to clients.
- Quality assurance: Enforce compliance with NFPA standards, local fire codes, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshooting support: Provide technical guidance and resolve complex system issues.
- Documentation: Review and approve inspection reports, commissioning records, and maintenance logs.
- Client liaison: Communicate with contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in fire fighting systems, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, and NFPA standards.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Must have valid QID and NOC
