Fire fighting technician

We are hiring a skilled Fire Fighting Technician to carry out installation, maintenance, and testing of fire fighting systems at a construction project site,Fujairah. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with fire protection systems including piping networks, pumps, sprinklers, hose reels, and other firefighting equipment as per UAE Civil Defence and NFPA standards.

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Installation and maintenance of Fire Fighting Systems, including fire fighting equipment, fire hydrant, hose reel, HDPE and underground piping, fire pumps, wet risers, deluge system, etc.
• Should know how to operate different machines, such as grooving and threading machines, while working in fire fighting installation.
• Should have knowledge of testing and commissioning of fire fighting system and Pressure testing etc.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenancePrepare service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Should be able to work as per the drawing instructions received from Site Engineers/Supervisors.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2-3 years UAE of experience in a similar role in the fire and safety industry.

Diploma/ITI in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical or related field.

Knowledge of UAE fire safety regulations and NFPA standards.

Ability to read technical drawings and P&ID diagrams.
