Fire Fighting Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems and equipment at site/facility. The role ensures compliance with safety standards, fire codes, and company policies to safeguard lives and property.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, and maintain fire fighting systems including pumps, sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, and extinguishers.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance of fire suppression systems (FM200, CO₂, Foam systems, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults in fire fighting equipment and systems.
  • Ensure fire pumps, valves, pipelines, and control panels are in proper working condition.
  • Perform testing and commissioning of new fire fighting systems as per approved drawings and NFPA/Local Civil Defense standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/ITI in Mechanical / Electrical / Fire & Safety Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Fire Fighting Technician in construction, facilities, or MEP environment.

Physical & Other Requirements

  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights when required.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or on-call during emergencies.
  • Strong focus on safety and teamwork.
