FIRE FIGHTING TECHNICIAN

Job Title: Fire Fighting Technician
Location: UAE, Abudhabi
Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Fire Fighting Technician to install, maintain, and repair fire fighting systems such as fire pumps, sprinklers, hose reels, fire extinguishers, and related equipment. The ideal candidate must have solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience in firefighting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair fire fighting systems (sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, fire pumps, etc.).
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance according to UAE Fire Code and Civil Defense requirements.
• Perform pressure testing, flow testing, and system commissioning.
• Inspect and refill fire extinguishers as per standards.
• Troubleshoot system issues and carry out corrective actions.
• Ensure proper installation of pipes, valves, fittings, and related components.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance checklists, and daily activity logs.
• Coordinate with supervisors, clients, and project teams for smooth workflow.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Fire Fighting Technician.
• Strong knowledge of fire pump systems, sprinkler networks, hydrants, hose reels, and valves.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and pipe layouts.
• Experience with FM200, CO2, or other suppression systems (advantage).
• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Fire & Safety, or related field.
• Basic understanding of UAE Fire & Life Safety regulations.
• UAE driving license (preferred).
