Fire Fighting Technician

We are seeking a skilled Fire Fighting Technician with experience in the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems. The candidate should have strong knowledge of firefighting equipment, fire protection piping, and the ability to interpret technical drawings while ensuring compliance with safety standards and authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair fire fighting systems including fire hose reels, hydrants, landing valves, sprinkler systems, and fire suppression systems.
• Perform inspection, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Assist in installation and maintenance of fire protection piping and related pump room equipment.
• Read and interpret fire protection shop drawings and technical diagrams.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper installation and system functionality.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure all work complies with Qatar Civil Defence Department (QCDD) requirements and fire safety standards.
• Maintain service reports and documentation of maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, ITI (Mechanical), or a related technical field.
• 2–4 years of experience in installation and maintenance of fire fighting systems.
• Knowledge of fire protection piping, pump room equipment, and system components.
• Ability to read and understand fire protection drawings.
• Familiarity with testing and commissioning procedures.
• Good knowledge of site safety practices and coordination.

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,300.00 per month
