Fire fighting technician

  • Job Summary:

The Fire Fighting Technician is responsible for the installation, testing, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems. This includes firefighting equipment such as fire pumps, sprinklers, hose reels, hydrants, and suppression systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain fire protection systems including:
  • Fire alarm interfaces (basic coordination)
  • Sprinkler systems
  • Fire hose reels and hydrants
  • Fire pumps (diesel and electric)
  • Foam and gas suppression systems (e.g., FM-200, CO₂)
  • Conduct routine inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults in firefighting systems and equipment
  • Ensure all systems comply with local civil defense regulations and international standards (NFPA, etc.)
  • Perform pressure testing, flow testing, and system commissioning
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports
  • Coordinate with engineers and project teams during installation and maintenance activities
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure quick resolution
  • Ensure safe working practices and use of PPE at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Fire Fighting Technician: 2 years (Preferred)
