FIRE PUMP TECHNICIAN

Minimum Technical Skills: Ability to perform safely and correctly the following tasks on Fire Fighting Systems:

1. Full awareness and ability to Perform the Planned preventative maintenance (PPM), Corrective Maintenance (CM) & Breakdown Maintenance (BD)
2. Handle and service/test/Repair Fire Pumps, Electrical (Control Panels), Diesel (Engines), Jockey and associated Valves, & Fire Pump controllers.
3. Handle and service/test/Repair fire Sprinkler Systems and associated ZCV, Alarm Check, & other valves
4. Handle and service/test/Repair Pre-Action Systems & Deluge Systems
5. Handle and service/test/Repair Fire Hose reel, Fire Hose Rack, Standpipes, Fire Dept connections.
6. Handle and service/test/Repair Foam Extinguishing Systems & related components, Monitors, Tanks, pumps etc.
7. Handle and service/test/Repair Fire Hydrants and associated Pipes & valves
8. Ability to conform to all general and technical safety requirements always to ensure the health, safety & welfare of self and others at work.
9. Any other work as assigned by the supervisor / duty engineer to achieve the purpose.
10. Can read interpret and describe the functionality of pipework schematics and system layout drawings.
11. Can correctly setup and use all related test equipment and interpret the test results.
12. Knowledge in the use & interpretation of NFPA, UAEFC, DCD codes, Standards and Regulations

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

• Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

• Fire Pump Technician: 5 years (Required)
