Minimum QualificationsGraduation from high school or GEDThree years of experience in municipal fire suppressionExperience as a fire apparatus operator in municipal departmentValid NC Class B driver’s license or valid out-of-state driver’s license with the ability to obtain a valid NC Class B driver’s license within sixty days of employment and good driving recordNC or IFSAC/ProBoard Emergency Vehicle Driver certificationNC or IFSAC/ProBoard Driver Operator Pumps and Aerials certificationNC or IFSAC/ProBoard Firefighter I and II certificationNC or IFSAC/ProBoard Hazardous Materials Operations certificationWork Schedule24 hours on 48 off rotating. 53 hours per week.
