Firefighter

The City of Cibolo is seeking a highly motivated Firefighter to join our team. As a key member of the Fire Department, the Firefighter will handle fire suppression, prevention, inspection, rescue, and first responder operations. Our Firefighters make a difference in our citizens’ lives by engaging with them by protecting life and property from disaster situations, including house and building fires, and promote an environment of public safety within the department response area.

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
• Must have a valid Texas Commission of Fire Protection (TCFP) Structural Firefighter-Basic Certification
• Must have a valid Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) EMT-Basic Certification

Compensation: Starting hourly rate is $19.80/hr. (DOE) plus outstanding fringe benefits package which includes 100% fully paid employee health, vision, dental, and life insurance, generous retirement package, 13 paid holidays plus 1 floating holidays awarded at the beginning of each fiscal year, 3 weeks of vacation, and so much more!
