Firefighter

The Creston Fire Department is currently hiring for the position of Career Firefighter. The CFD is a combination department consisiting of Career, Part-time, and Volunteer Firefighters. CFD is a multifaceted fire department answering 900+ calls for service annually. CFD will place all applicants who pass the requirements on the civil service list. Shifts 24/48 Schedule

Starting Pay Career Firefighter $20.53/hr (Approximately $64,000 + Call In Time)

Requirements Upon Hire Certified Firefighter I (Preferred) Iowa EMT (18 months) Live within 5 minutes of Fire Station (6 months)

Pay: $50,732.86 - $61,097.64 per year
