Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer with strong expertise in C programming to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, debugging, and troubleshooting firmware solutions that interface across electrical, firmware, and software domains. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, hands-on experience with embedded systems, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware primarily using C programming.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues spanning hardware, firmware, and software boundaries.
• Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Perform root-cause analysis of hardware/software interaction issues and provide effective solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and validation to ensure reliability and performance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and test procedures.
• Support new product development, prototyping, and field issue investigations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in embedded firmware development with strong proficiency in C programming.
• Solid understanding of microcontrollers, processors, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB) is preferred.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $150,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year
