As a Firmware Engineering Manager, you will lead a team focused on developing and supporting embedded firmware solutions that power innovative products. You’ll combine technical expertise with leadership skills to ensure projects meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.


As a Firmware Engineering Manager, a typical day might include the following:

  • Leading firmware development efforts, ensuring high-quality design and implementation across projects
  • Assisting with portfolio planning and contributing to long-term technology strategy for embedded systems
  • Managing activities to attract, hire, supervise, and develop firmware engineers to achieve team and organizational goals
  • Representing the team at external meetings and presenting technical updates at large internal forums
  • Modeling and teaching company values and principles to promote world-class engineering practices


This job might be for you if:

  • You have a B.S. in an engineering field or equivalent experience, with at least 8 years in firmware engineering or management
  • You bring strong technical knowledge in embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware development processes

Pay Range Data
$136,100 - $201,100. Our pay ranges are determined by job and responsibility. We base our starting pay offer job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
