What will the First Choice & Continuous Improvement Lead role be responsible for?

• Lead the implementation and continuous evolution of DHL First Choice culture across Turkey, embedding customer-centric thinking and operational excellence into daily routines.
• Drive strategic First Choice initiatives at country level, ensuring sustainable improvements in service quality, productivity, and customer experience.
• Act as a trusted advisor to middle and senior leadership, coaching them on First Choice principles, Lean thinking, structured problem solving (DMAIC), and performance dialogue routines.
• Strengthen continuous improvement capabilities within eCS countries and clusters by sharing best practices, standards, and measurable success stories.
• Facilitate Gemba walks, performance dialogues and root cause workshops to eliminate waste and enhance service reliability.
• Monitor and improve KPIs related to service performance, customer satisfaction, productivity, and quality — ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making.
• Lead and develop First Choice specialists and project teams, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Build strong internal stakeholder relationships and collaborate with regional and global First Choice communities to align on standards and strategy.

What skills are we looking for in the First Choice & Continuous Improvement Lead role?

• University degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; international exposure is a plus.
• Certified in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt / Master Black Belt) or equivalent structured improvement methodology.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in consulting, operational excellence, or large-scale transformation programs.
• Proven experience in embedding a continuous improvement culture within operational environments.
• Strong expertise in lean & waste elimination, structured problem solving (DMAIC, A3, RCA), KPI management & performance dialogue, change management in international organizations
• Excellent analytical thinking and stakeholder communication skills.
• Excellent MS Office knowledge.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Resilient, structured, persuasive, and willing to travel domestically and internationally.
