Purpose of Job

• Teach and nurture preschool children.
• Manage classrooms effectively, ensuring both resources and students are well-handled.
• Implement teaching programs in alignment with the prescribed lesson plans and curriculum

KRA

Towards Students

• Apply diverse teaching techniques and strategies to achieve learning objectives.
• Provide activities and materials that intellectually engage and challenge students.
• Design and use effective tools to assess student learning outcomes.
• Plan, monitor, and evaluate student development consistently.
• Supervise students during class, playtime, and breaks to ensure safety and discipline.

Towards Parents

• Keep parents informed about their child’s academic and personal progress.
• Discuss concerns regarding behavior or issues openly and constructively.
• Share details about after-school activities, excursions, and school meetings.
• Collect and update parent feedback regularly.
• Encourage and facilitate parent participation during parent-teacher meetings.

Towards Management

• Participate actively in staff meetings, training programs, and school events.
• Volunteer in organizing special events and activities.
• Maintain a healthy and professional relationship with peers and non-teaching staff.
• Uphold confidentiality of information at all levels.
• Be available to give extra time to the school if required, unless there is a genuine emergency (to be communicated in writing).

Requirements

Education Qualification:

• Graduate in any discipline (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Diploma/Certificate in ECCE / NTT / Montessori (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of relevant teaching experience in preschool/early childhood education.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of child development, education theories, and practices.
• Awareness of safety procedures and child supervision requirements.
• Team-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective English communication (speaking and writing).
• Flexible, consistent, fair, and empathetic approach.
• Ability to safeguard and prioritize student interests.

Compensation & Benefits
