We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in FIS Core Banking Applications and IBM Mainframe technologies. The ideal candidate will handle production support, incident troubleshooting, and maintenance of core banking modules in a high-availability environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for FIS Core Banking modules (GN, ALS, IMPACS, RM, ST).
- Troubleshoot application issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop, modify, and support mainframe components using Z/OS, MVS, JCL, COBOL, Easytrieve, CICS, Stored Procedures.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for analysis and data extraction.
- Monitor daily batch jobs and system performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and vendors for issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with operational, security, and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Production Support for FIS Core Banking Systems.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of mainframe development technologies.
- Good understanding of banking processes and core modules.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
