Fit Consultant – Job Description

Introduction

At DAZZLES, the Fit Consultant is not just a technician — they are a

comfort creator, confidence builder, and detail guardian.

They lead the client through a seamless alteration experience by blending

technical expertise with empathy, ensuring every garment fits like it was

made just for them. The Fit Consultant reflects the brand’s promise through

precision, reassurance, and service excellence.

PREP (Preparation)

• Begin the day with a quick review of scheduled alteration trials.

• Coordinate with the production team to prepare garments for fitting.

• Ensure trial rooms are prepped with the garment, heels, accessories,

and required helpers.

PROCESS (Operations)

• Conduct fittings with patience, clarity, and technical know-how.

• Assess garment construction (gowns, lehengas, blouses, skirts) and

advise on alteration feasibility.

• Identify technical limitations based on fabric, margin, lining, and

embellishments.

• Clearly explain possible fit corrections (neckline depth, sleeve type,

skirt length, etc.).

• Coordinate with the master for accurate alteration plan finalization.

• Upload trial notes, alteration slips, and update status in the internal

tracking system.

• Handle up to two client cases simultaneously without compromising

quality.

POST (Results)

• Oversee the final fit session and quality check for handover or

dispatch readiness.

• Communicate alteration timelines, limitations, and any additional

charges to clients clearly.

• Follow up with clients for feedback and fit satisfaction.

• Participate in team reflections and maintain a client-first attitude

during high footfall.
