Fit-Out Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Fit-Out Engineer with solid experience in interior fit-out projects in Qatar to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for site execution, coordination, basic design coordination, and commercial support related to fit-out works, ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day fit-out site activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Review and implement approved shop drawings and material submittals.
• Ensure works are executed in compliance with QCS standards, project specifications, and consultant requirements.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular site and progress reports.
• Ensure quality control, workmanship standards, and site safety compliance.
• Coordinate inspections, snag lists, and handover activities.
• Assist in project pricing, cost estimation, and preparation of BOQs.
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings for fit-out works.
• Resolve site technical issues and coordinate design clarifications when required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in fit-out / interior works.
• Previous work experience in Qatar is mandatory.
• Experience in basic and practical use of AutoCAD (reviewing drawings, simple modifications, and quantity extraction).
• Knowledge of project pricing, cost estimation, and quantity take-off for fit-out works.
• Strong understanding of fit-out materials, finishes, and site execution practices.
• Familiarity with QCS, QCDD requirements, and consultant approval procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory).
• Ability to work independently, manage site activities, and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR9,000.00 per month
