Fit Out Engineer - Residential & Commercial Interior Projects

We are seeking an experienced Fit Out Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in interior fit out execution, with proven expertise in managing both residential and commercial projects from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities & Project Execution

• Oversee all technical aspects of interior fit out projects including MEP coordination, joinery, finishing works, and FF&E installation
• Ensure projects are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues on site
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance

Site Management

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update project schedules
• Manage material procurement, delivery schedules, and site logistics
• Identify and resolve construction issues, implementing corrective actions as needed

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure all works comply with Dubai Municipality regulations and building codes
• Coordinate Dubai Civil Defence requirements for fit out projects
• Manage DEWA coordination for electrical and HVAC connections
• Obtain necessary approvals and permits for fit out activities

Quality & Safety

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures on all projects
• Conduct quality inspections at each stage of work completion
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations
• Monitor subcontractor performance and workmanship standards

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate as-built drawings and project documentation
• Prepare snag lists and coordinate defect rectification
• Manage project handover documentation and O&M manuals
• Track project costs and support commercial team with variation orders

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Minimum 4-7 years of experience in interior fit out projects in the UAE
• Proven track record managing residential and commercial fit out projects
• Strong understanding of Dubai's construction regulations and approval processes

Technical Skills

• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural, MEP, and shop drawings
• Strong knowledge of fit out materials, finishes, and installation techniques
• Experience with joinery works, ceiling systems, flooring, and wall finishes
• Familiarity with MEP coordination in fit out environments
• Understanding of DEWA, DM, and Civil Defence requirements

Software Proficiency

• AutoCAD and project management software
• MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
• Familiarity with BIM software is an advantage

Professional Attributes

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Team player with leadership capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification (PMP, LEED, or equivalent)
• Experience with luxury residential villa projects
• Knowledge of high-end finishes and premium materials
• Experience working with international design firms
• Valid UAE driving license

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
