We are looking for a Fit-Out Manager to oversee and manage tenant fit-out activities for commercial spaces within a mall or mixed-use project. The role is responsible for ensuring that all tenant fit-out works are completed in accordance with mall standards, approved designs, project timelines, safety requirements, and operational readiness expectations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end tenant fit-out process from design submission to final handover and store opening.
  • Review tenant fit-out proposals, drawings, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with mall standards and authority requirements.
  • Coordinate with tenants, consultants, contractors, and internal departments on fit-out timelines, requirements, and approvals.
  • Ensure tenant fit-out works are executed in accordance with approved design criteria, technical specifications, and HSE requirements.
  • Monitor fit-out progress and follow up with tenants and contractors to ensure timely completion of works.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality, compliance, safety, and adherence to approved plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, security, and HSE teams to support smooth execution of tenant works.
  • Review fit-out schedules and identify risks, delays, or issues that may affect trading commencement dates.
  • Ensure all required permits, approvals, and completion certificates are obtained before unit opening.
  • Manage fit-out handover and takeover procedures between landlord and tenant in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Follow up on defects, snags, and rectification works before final acceptance of the unit.
  • Support leasing and tenant relations teams by providing technical input during pre-leasing and onboarding stages.
  • Maintain accurate records of fit-out status, approvals, correspondence, and technical documentation.
  • Prepare regular reports on fit-out progress, opening schedules, challenges, and compliance status.
  • Ensure all tenant fit-out activities are aligned with commercial, operational, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in fit-out, project management, or tenant coordination, preferably in malls, retail, or commercial real estate.
  • Experience in managing tenant fit-out processes within operational commercial environments is preferred.
