FITOUT SITE ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities related to interior fit-out works.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved shop drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, and workers to ensure smooth site operations.
• Monitor productivity and ensure adherence to project timelines.

2. Technical Coordination

• Review construction drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Coordinate with consultants and project managers for clarifications and approvals.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure all works comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare snag lists where required.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and obtain approvals.

4. Planning and Progress Monitoring

• Assist in preparing work schedules and monitor project progress.
• Report delays or potential risks to the Project Manager.
• Ensure timely completion of milestones.

5. Material and Resource Management

• Coordinate with procurement team for material delivery to site.
• Check materials delivered on site and ensure they meet specifications.
• Monitor usage of materials and avoid wastage.

6. Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular safety checks on site.
• Ensure workers follow proper safety procedures and PPE requirements.

7. Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare daily and weekly site reports.
• Maintain records of work progress, inspections, and site instructions.
• Assist in preparation of progress claims and variation orders.

8. Coordination with Stakeholders

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress.
• Ensure clear communication among project team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Architecture or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction projects.
• Knowledge of fit-out materials, joinery works, gypsum, ceiling, flooring, and MEP coordination.

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
