Role Purpose:

As a Fleet Controller , you will oversee the daily operations of our delivery fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food orders. You will coordinate with drivers, monitor vehicle performance, and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes and improve service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Route Optimization: Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely delivery while minimizing fuel costs and improving efficiency.
• Driver Coordination: Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and support throughout their shifts.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze delivery performance metrics, including delivery times, customer feedback, and driver efficiency.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Monitor the maintenance and safety of delivery vehicles, coordinating repairs and inspections as needed.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any delivery-related issues, including customer complaints, traffic delays, or vehicle problems.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, operational challenges, and areas for improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including customer service, logistics, and management, to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).

- Experience in fleet management or logistics, preferably in the food delivery industry.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in using fleet management software and GPS systems.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
