Fleet Maintenance Manager

About the Role:
We're on the lookout for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to champion the repair and upkeep of our truck fleet. This key position focuses on hands-on truck repairs, team management, and seamless coordination to keep our vehicles operational and downtime to a minimum

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and oversee truck repairs, including diagnostics, engine overhauls, brake systems, transmissions, and electrical troubleshooting for heavy-duty vehicles.
• Manage daily maintenance schedules, prioritize repair jobs, and track progress to ensure fleet readiness and compliance with timelines.
• Coordinate with in-house mechanics, external repair shops, and parts suppliers for efficient sourcing, repairs, and warranty handling.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, inventory of spare parts, and vehicle service history using maintenance software.
• Conduct routine inspections, road tests, and safety checks to prevent breakdowns and optimize fuel efficiency.
• Train junior staff on repair techniques and enforce adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
