Job Purpose
The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of Salehiya Healthcare's fleet of vehicles-including temperature controlled vans, trucks, and delivery units-to ensure maximum reliability, safety, and compliance with GDP/GxP standards. The role ensures that all fleet assets are maintained to support uninterrupted cold chain logistics operations, minimize downtime, and uphold service excellence across the Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities
Operational
- Supervise daily maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for the fleet and refrigeration units, ensuring all vehicles meet operational readiness and cooling standards.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules (PMS) and monitor asset uptime to ensure continuous support for logistics and dispatch requirements.
- Analyze fleet KPIs-including fuel efficiency, downtime, and maintenance costs-to implement corrective actions and drive long term strategic improvements.
- Maintain accurate records within the CMMS/ERP system, leveraging telematics and digital tools for predictive maintenance and temperature monitoring.
- Drive cost saving initiatives through effective vendor negotiations, spare parts inventory management, and optimized resource utilization.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and environmental health and safety (EHS) standards across all workshop activities.
- Coordinate with external service providers and workshops for outsourced repairs, ensuring high-quality workmanship and maximizing warranty claims.
- Provide technical insights for fleet replacement planning, focusing on vehicle health, lifecycle costs, and asset condition.
- Lead and train maintenance staff on diagnostic techniques, cold chain equipment handling, and safety procedures while conducting regular performance evaluations.
- Liaise with Procurement, Logistics, and Quality departments to align fleet availability with business needs and provide critical updates to senior stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering.
- 5-8 years of experience in facility or maintenance.

- Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
