Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance/Workshop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of our fleet vehicles and the physical workshop facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all repair and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires skills to guide a team of mechanics while also providing hands-on technical assistance and managing administrative duties such as scheduling, inventory, and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervision & Planning: Supervise, assign, and review the daily work of fleet mechanics and technicians, ensuring maximum productivity and minimal vehicle downtime.

· Maintenance & Repair Oversight: Oversee and participate in the diagnosis, repair, and overhaul of all types of light and heavy diesel and gasoline-powered equipment, including engines, transmissions, brake systems, and hydraulic systems.

· Preventative Maintenance: Develop, implement, and monitor preventative maintenance (PM) schedules to ensure all vehicles remain in peak operating condition and comply with manufacturer guidelines and federal regulations.

· Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and transportation regulations within the workshop, conducting regular safety inspections of equipment and the facility.

· Inventory & Budget Management: Monitor and maintain an accurate inventory of parts, supplies, and tools, coordinating orders with vendors and assisting in the preparation and monitoring of the workshop budget.

· Training & Development: Train new staff in work methods and safety procedures, conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to foster professional growth.

· Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs, maintenance activities, fuel consumption, and parts usage utilizing fleet management software.

· Problem Solving: Provide expert technical assistance for complex or unusual repair problems encountered by the team.

Required Qualifications

Preferably DAE Mechanical in automobile technology or relevant degree

· Experience:

o Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy commercial vehicles/trucks.

o Preferably 1-2 years of proven supervisory experience in a workshop or fleet maintenance environment.

· Technical Knowledge:

o In-depth knowledge of diesel and gasoline engine operation, repair characteristics of heavy automotive equipment, and diagnostic tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs130,000.00 per month
