Fleet Mechanic

Overview:

We are currently recruiting for a full time Fleet Mechanic to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary and benefit package - $26.00 - $29.00/hr

Responsibilities:

The Fleet Mechanic will perform maintenance associated with our delivery fleet, trailers and forklifts.

Duties to include:

Monitoring and documenting all phases of vehicle maintenance.
Preventative maintenance and service of fleet vehicles at assigned intervals
Documentation of PM reports & equipment repair logs
Hydraulic and engine repairs

This is a full time position with overtime. The hours during our peak season are 5:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Some Saturday hours required 5:00-10:30 during peak season. Hours are adjusted during off peak season.

Qualifications:

Requires experience repairing gas/diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
Welding, torching and small fabrication skills is a plus
Must have at least 1 year experience working as a mechanic
Experience in repairing truck brake systems (including hydraulic and air), and electrical systems
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must be able to lift 80 lbs when necessary
Must have own tools
Clean motor vehicle record
CDL preferred but not required
Must be able to work with minimum supervision
