Job Purpose:
To coordinate and assist in evaluating and improving performance and energy management on board vessels.
Key Accountabilities:
Performance Monitoring Systems
-
Monitoring and evaluating energy usage on board vessels.

Monitoring Engineering alerts and notifications on Ship Monitoring systems.
-
Liaising with Fleet Superintendents / Vessels for resolving alerts.
-
Liaising with the Fleet Superintendents / Vessels / service providers for changes/improvements to the system.
-
Assisting Fleet Performance Department to prepare Reports related to vessel / energy performance as required.

Reviewing Analytical reports/ Dash boards related to the Technical Performance Department.
Document Control
-
To assist in preparing Energy and environmental related reporting and documentation for submission to Verifiers.
Administration and Support Services
-
Provide support relating to preparing training and information documents for vessels and users, as and when required.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Related Assignments

Perform any other duties which the line manager may require to be carried out.

Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.
Qualifications & Experience:

Technical/ vocational diploma, associate degree in engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 0-3 years’ experience in the maritime industry (sea or shore).

Good knowledge of office-based computer software and Microsoft applications, ship equipment and engineering systems.
