We are searching for a Fleet Purchasing Coordinator to act as the bridge between our customers’ needs and the vendors who provide them. This role will primarily focus on purchasing and specializing fleet vehicles, with the additional responsibilities of supporting our customers and maintaining relationships with our vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with vendors to define and approve vehicle specifications, ensuring all vehicles are tailored to operational needs.
• Manage the ordering and procurement of vehicles from purchase order through delivery, resolving any issues to maintain operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot order delays, equipment shortages, and specification issues with vendors.
• Communicate consistently with vendors and internal teams to confirm order status and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain accurate documentation including purchase orders, invoices, and vendor agreements for reporting.
• Monitor inventory for any out-of-stock vehicles, ensuring fleet is fully operational and ready for customer needs.

Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in a similar role with a fleet management company.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong basic computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Must have keen eye for detail and attention to accuracy.
