Fleet Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Fleet Technicians to join our team for 3rd shift. The ideal candidates will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance, specifically with tractor trailers. As a Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on fleet vehilcles.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on various components such as shocks, struts, and ABS systems.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot problems effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of parts used.
• Diagnose electrical systems
• Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in vehicle technology.

Requirements

• Proven experience in vehicle maintenance or as a Fleet Technician is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on diesel engines, suspension, fabrication, etc.
• Familiarity with shocks, struts, ABS systems, and other automotive components is essential.
• Ability to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies related to fleet maintenance.
