Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal Fragrance Sales Associates (SFSA) to join our team during the busy retail season. As a SFSA you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with merchandising, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced COMMISSION environment and enjoy working with the public.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining merchandise displays to ensure a well-organized store environment.
- Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales.
- Utilize effective upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including backroom areas.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance also known as Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- Support management in supervising staff during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
- Experience in retail sales, including cashiering and cash handling.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and retail math applications.
- Effective communication skills, both EFFECTIVE listening, verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques to attractively display products.
- Previous experience in COMMISSION retail sales or similar retail environments is advantageous.
- Ability to be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
- Ability to partner with Store Manager
- ·Minimum of 2 years or more in a competitive COMMISSION based selling environment while meeting and/or exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- Ability to demonstrate non-negotiable selling behaviors to build relationships, understand customer needs, and close the sale
- Ability to pivot and be flexible while adapting to market changes by strategically adjusting business models, sales channels, product offerings, and operations to meet customer needs and stay competitive.
- Ability to be coached while being open to feedback, willing to learn, and adaptable to new ideas to improve KPI's
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
