Flex Security Officer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Mobile Patrol Flex Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding to emergencies while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

This part-time Flex position requires availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, for all three shifts.

Required shift times are as follows:

• 3rd Shift: 3:30 AM – 10:00 AM & 1:30am-7:30am
• 1st shift 10:00am-6:00pm
• Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and parking lots.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to deter theft and vandalism.
• Maintain surveillance using CCTV systems and report any suspicious activities.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems is beneficial.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is an asset.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.

Pay: $18.50 - $19.00 per year
