Schedule: Weekdays 35-40h/wk, both parents are physicians so their schedule will vary month-to-month with 2-3 weeks notice; Additional hours may be available for weekends & date nights

ex:Mon (7a-12p) Tues (7a-5p), Wed (12-5p), Thurs & Fri (7a-5p)

A professional and busy family is looking for a nanny for their 2 month-old baby. Their ideal candidate will be reliable and committed long-term, enthusiastic about childcare, and have a strong knowledge of child development. Daily responsibilities include typical baby care (diapering, feeding, nap times, etc.), creating enriching activities, reading books, and light household chores when time allows. Though not required, the family would love a candidate who knows more than one language and/or has teaching experience.

Family does have friendly Golden Retriever, light pet care is needed (letting outside and feeding)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the daily activities of baby, ensuring their safety at all times
• Plan and prepare bottles, maintaining baby’s schedule, and adapting as they grow
• Engage with baby in age-appropriate educational activities and creative play
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for baby, including tidying the baby’s areas and light household chores during downtimes
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding the baby’s progress, behavior, and milestones via logging

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven experience as a nanny, childcare provider, or similar role
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
• Preference will be given to candidates with an educational background and second language
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a safe driving record
• Knowledge of child development milestones and age-appropriate activities

*All candidates must undergo and pass a background and driving history check, no secondhand smoke and provide at least three professional childcare references

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
