Flexographic Printing Press Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Flexographic Printing Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. Your expertise will ensure precise color management, consistent print quality, and efficient production workflows. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses, ensuring optimal performance and print quality.
• Prepare printing plates, inks, and substrates according to job specifications, including prepress adjustments.
• Monitor press operations throughout production runs, making real-time adjustments to maintain color accuracy and registration.
• Conduct quality control inspections to detect defects or inconsistencies, troubleshooting issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of production parameters, maintenance logs, and quality reports.
• Collaborate with graphic design and prepress teams to ensure accurate layout design and color management.
• Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment, including cleaning, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and CNC machining if necessary.

Skills

• Proven experience operating flexographic printing presses in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of prepress processes, including layout design, typography, and color management techniques.
• Proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite for file preparation and adjustments.
• Familiarity with screen printing techniques and print advertising standards is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Knowledge of CNC machinery, machining processes, and forklift operation is advantageous for handling materials safely.
• Excellent attention to detail for quality control inspections and ensuring precise registration during print runs.
