Flight Paramedic - Aeromed 2

Patient assessment and coordination of patient care based upon patient age and developmental level utilizing departmental medical protocols and standards. Standards established by the medical director, and which are based on State and Federal Laws of Paramedic Practice.

• Base location is in Sebring, Florida
• State of Florida Paramedic Certification.
• Must have five years’ experience as a Paramedic.
• AHA ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications required.
• NRP certification preferred or completion within 6 months of hire.
• Advanced certification such as FP-C or CCP-C preferred or completion within 2 years of hire required in accordance with Aeromed CAMTS accreditation standards.
• Advanced Trauma certification such as ATLS audit or equivalent advanced trauma education preferred.
• Water egress course completion required within 1 year of hire.
• Department of Transportation air crew course curriculum content is a component of the Aeromed initial orientation process with successful completion of content required by the end of orientation.
