Flight Planning Dispatcher

We are looking for an Flight Planning Dispatcher and a good team member, who will work at SunExpress , Antalya Headquarters.

Requirements:

• Has a Turkish DGCA valid dispatcher license in accordance with SHY-UHU.
• The applicant shall meet the medical requirements for shift work.
• At least a Bachelor's Degree.
• Able to communicate written and oral in a range of subjects related to English.
• Able to calculate a computerized operational flight plan (e.g. LIDO) or manual calculation and provide assistance to flights.
• Able to read and understand all NOTAMs, Weather Reports, and manuals including Route Manuals (LIDO, Jeppesen, etc.).
• Able to use MS Office applications.

Responsibilities:

• To perform efficient coordination and cooperation, information exchange, preflight operational planning in accordance with weather, Notam, intern letters, etc., check the aircraft for MEL/CDL items and performance, and take action.
• Take necessary action to avoid/reduce delays in the case of ATC-Slot.
• Partial shares joint responsibility with the pilot in command for the safety/security and operational control of the flight. Operations Control Officer (OCO) supports and briefs PIC when necessary for risk tolerability concerning the safe conduct of each flight.
• Regulate, control, and terminate aircraft flights in accordance with company and governmental regulations and policies to ensure safety and security.
• Ensure operational control, and passenger service requirements for daily flight operations in the company and CAA regulations regarding safety, security, and economy.
• Report matters concerning his function and administrative matters and any irregularities to the IOCC Senior Manager and/or IOCC Operational Manager.
• ln cases of irregularities forward promptly, whenever necessary, instructions and recommendations and advice on actions to be taken in accordance with company and CAA policies and regulations.
• Arrange sub-charter operation by and for SunExpress, as necessary, in accordance with company and CAA policies and regulations.
• Maintain a regular Daily IOCC Log wherein all noteworthy events concerning flight and ground operations are recorded.
• Execute and follow the duties which are given by the IOCC Senior Manager and/or IOCC Operational Manager.
• Follow the procedures which are related to Integrated Operation Control Center.
• Taking all necessary action during irregularities.
• Upon receiving info regarding with inadequacy of any facilities observation from the flight crew Operational Control Officer passes this information to the Duty Manager.
• In case of handling agent or pilot does not access to the Lido WEB server, OCO personnel shall retrieve all necessary flight documents from a web server and send them to the requester by any means of communication channels.
