The Flight Respiratory Therapist I provides direct patient care in a transport environment, while assessing and adjusting therapies during transport in response to changes in patient outcomes; builds and maintains relationships with multidisciplinary healthcare providers; and collects, monitors, and reports on quality of care outcomes and measures.
Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or Respiratory Care
Experience: Four Years clinical respiratory therapy experience in a Critical Care/ED
Equivalency: Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or Respiratory Care plus two years of experience will substitute for the Bachelor’s Degree requirement.
Certification(s):
BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire
Advanced Life Support Certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Trauma Provider Advanced Trauma Course, Certified Neonatal/Pediatric Transportation Certification within 2 years of hire
Licensure(s): Registered Respiratory Therapist from National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and State of Colorado, Respiratory Therapist license
Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Hourly Range: $38.34 to $57.52
