Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the diverse needs of students. The Teacher will play a crucial role in nurturing children's growth and development while promoting literacy, math skills, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement curriculum that meets the educational needs of students.
  • Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment.
  • Provide individualized support and early intervention strategies for students with special needs.
  • Foster literacy education through interactive reading and writing activities.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with parents, staff, and other professionals to support child welfare.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children in daycare or preschool settings.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.

Skills

  • Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning.
  • Experience working with children in various educational settings, including private schools or daycare.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and early childhood development principles.
  • Proficiency in behavior management techniques to support diverse learners.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools.
  • Ability to teach physical education as part of a well-rounded curriculum.
  • Experience with Montessori methods is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Understanding of childhood development stages and appropriate instructional strategies.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
