Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Floater Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting classroom activities across various age groups, ensuring a nurturing and engaging learning environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic educational setting, providing essential support to lead teachers and enriching the educational experience for young learners. Candidates with experience in curriculum development, classroom management, and special education are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities.
  • Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Provide care and supervision for children and ensuring safety and well-being at all times.
  • Engage children in educational activities that promote social-emotional development, cognitive skills, and physical activity.
  • Support classroom setup, organization, and cleanup to maintain a clean and inviting learning space.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and behavioral concerns.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school, or similar settings is preferred abut not necessary.
  • Knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with children and families.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and support various age groups as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
