Responsibilities

- Support classroom management by engaging children in activities that encourage positive behavior and social skills.
- Provide care and supervision for children during daily routines such as snack time, outdoor play, nap time, and transitions.
- Adapt lesson plans to meet the individual needs of children, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and child welfare.
- Support classroom activities related to Montessori methods or other educational philosophies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute developmental assessments and standardized testing preparations.
Skills
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with special education strategies and behavior management techniques.
