Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Floater/Breaker Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a flexible classroom presence, stepping into various teaching environments to support curriculum delivery, classroom management, and student engagement. Duties
- Provide seamless coverage across multiple classrooms, supporting lead teachers and ensuring continuity of instruction for children.
- Assist with curriculum development tailored to diverse age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary students.
- Implement engaging lesson plans focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Support classroom management by promoting positive behavior strategies and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with teachers on individualized education plans (IEPs) for children requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Engage children in activities that promote childhood development milestones, including language acquisition, motor skills, and cognitive growth.
- Maintain open communication with parents and staff regarding student progress, behavior management strategies, and classroom needs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods and preschool curriculum standards.
- Strong understanding of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Experience with lesson planning, standardized testing preparation, and tutoring is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with families.
- Background in special education or early intervention programs is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and support diverse learner needs.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
