Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a versatile classroom assistant, stepping into various teaching environments to support the delivery of engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children. Your energetic approach and strong communication skills will help foster a nurturing classroom atmosphere, ensuring each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development is prioritized. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum development plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional growth.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment conducive to learning and behavior management strategies.
- Provide attentive toddler care and support early intervention efforts for children with special needs or developmental delays.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that foster childhood development and encourage curiosity and exploration.
- Help with lesson planning and adapt instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students, including those requiring special education accommodations.
- Conduct classroom activities aligned with Montessori principles or other educational philosophies as directed by lead teachers.
- Support classroom organization, including setting up learning stations, managing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards in childcare or daycare environments.
- Assist with standardized testing preparations and tutoring sessions to reinforce learning objectives.
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members regarding child welfare, progress, and behavioral updates.
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive classroom environment by applying behavior management techniques and promoting positive interactions among children.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or private schools is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated classroom experience involving lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management strategies.
- Familiarity with early intervention practices and special education techniques to support children with diverse needs.
- Experience with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational approaches is advantageous.
- Knowledge of childhood development milestones, literacy education methods, math instruction, and physical education activities.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and engaging effectively with parents or guardians.

Requirements:
Must be able to pass a drug screen, a TB test and a background check. Must have a high school diplom.
