Flood / Stormwater Engineer (Infrastructure Projects)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Flood / Stormwater Engineer to join our consultant team. The

candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, and review of stormwater and flood

control systems for Roads and large-scale infrastructure and real estate development projects in

Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct hydrological and hydraulic studies for stormwater and flood control.

Design stormwater networks (pipelines, manholes, culverts, outfalls, retention/detention

systems).

Develop flood protection solutions including channels, diversion works, and flood risk

mitigation.

Coordinate with utility engineers, road engineers, and architects to ensure integrated

infrastructure solutions.

Prepare and review shop drawings, design reports, and technical submittals.

Ensure compliance with local authority standards (MOMRA, MOT, NWC) and

international codes (ASTM, AASHTO, BS/EN).

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering ( Hydrology/Hydraulics preferred).

5+ years of experience in stormwater and/or flood control design.

Strong knowledge of hydrological/hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS,

MIKE FLOOD, SWMM).

Familiarity with GIS and drainage design tools (Civil 3D, Info Works ICM, etc.).

Experience in KSA/GCC projects is highly desirable.
