Floor Maintenance Technician

We are seeking reliable, self-motivated Floor Maintenance Technician to join our Floor Care Team at one of the top janitorial companies in the Puget Sound. Our Floor Maintenance Technician are responsible for operating and setting up heavy floor care equipment while traveling to different building locations throughout the region to deliver high-quality floor and facility cleaning services for our clients.

Floor Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

Operate and set up heavy floor care equipment for cleaning tasks
Perform carpet cleaning and floor maintenance
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
Strip and wax floors using specialized tools and machinery
Properly apply and handle cleaning chemicals
Perform spot cleaning and detailed cleaning as needed
Pressure wash building exteriors
Clean windows and glass surfaces
Collect and remove debris
Interact professionally with customers and team members
Travel to various building locations throughout King County, with occasional work in Pierce and Snohomish Counties
Participate in a performance review after 90 days

Floor Maintenance Technician Qualifications

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Comfortable setting up and operating floor care machines
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Willingness to learn and follow directions
Ability to use a backpack vacuum for extended periods
Previous floor care or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
Must be 18 years or older

Floor Maintenance Technician Compensation

Pay ranges from $25.00 per hour, with opportunities for bonuses and overtime.
