Floor Supervisor

We are seeking a detail-oriented Floor Supervisor to oversee the daily cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and corridors on assigned floors. You will lead a team of Room Attendants to ensure our property meets the highest standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Supervision:Assign room cleaning quotas and deep-cleaning tasks to the housekeeping team.

  • Quality Inspections:Physically inspect all guest rooms (occupied and departure) and VIP suites to ensure they meet brand standards before guest arrival.

  • Maintenance Liaison:Identify and report repair needs (e.g., electrical, plumbing) to theEngineering Departmentand follow up on completion.

  • Inventory & Supplies:Monitor the floor pantry, manage linen stock, and requisition cleaning supplies as needed to prevent shortages.

  • Guest Service:Act as the first point of contact for guest requests (e.g., extra pillows, VIP amenities) and handle complaints with professionalism and speed.

  • Staff Coaching:Provide on-the-job training for new hires and ongoing feedback to current staff to maintain performance levels.

  • Safety & Compliance:Ensure all staff adhere to hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation.

Experience Needed

  • Experience:Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.

  • Education:High school diploma or equivalent; a degree inHospitality Managementis a plus.

  • Skills:Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a "guest-first" mindset.

  • Communication:Good oral and written communication skills (English proficiency often required).
