Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a love for flowers, and the ability to create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences. The Floral Designer will also assist in managing stock levels and maintaining an organized workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their floral selections and offering expert advice.
  • Manage inventory levels of flowers and supplies, ensuring stock is well-organized and readily available.
  • Operate cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and inviting store environment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Assist in e-commerce initiatives by preparing floral products for online orders.
  • Participate in landscape maintenance projects as needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in floral design or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Retail sales experience is beneficial, particularly in a floral or garden center setting.
  • Familiarity with cash register operations and inventory management systems is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
  • A background in lawn care or landscape maintenance can be helpful but is not required.
