Floral Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. Preferably, the ideal candidate will have a background in floral design, and customer service. This role involves creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions, assisting customers with their selections, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of our floral displays. A successful Floral Designer will possess excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail while being able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong customer service skills a must!

Duties

• Design and create floral arrangements for various events including, funerals, personal, private, and corporate functions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their floral needs and preferences.
• Utilize POS systems for processing sales transactions accurately.
• Engage in merchandising efforts to display products attractively.
• Handle cash transactions and manage cash registers efficiently.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure a smooth workflow in the shop.
• Stay updated on current trends in floral design and gardening techniques.
• Greet customers and run front counter responsibilities.

Experience

• Preferred experience in floral design or related fields such as horticulture or gardening is preferred.
• Experience in retail sales, cashiering, and handling cash is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
